Gulf Bank sponsors student-run charity campaign

Gulf Bank has announced its sponsorship of "Put a Smile on a Face" charity campaign by a student of the American International School.
"Gulf Bank is delighted to back such an excellent initiative that is being led by students and which was brought to our attention by a highly motivated and community-inspired seventh grade student at the American International School," explained Mr. Fawzi Al-Thunayan, General Manager of Board Affairs at Gulf Bank.
"Gulf Bank believes it has an important responsibility to sponsor such events for our schools in order to help foster social consciousness among our youth and help them grow into responsible and dedicated community leaders," he added.
The student behind the initiative, Abdulla Al-Saeed said: "I wanted to do more for the children in need and that included asking Gulf Bank to support our campaign. I think we need to reach out and do all that we can to help those that are less fortunate than us."
Gulf Bank will assist in the 'Put a Smile on a Face' campaign by placing toy collection boxes in ten participating branches and encouraging customers and community members to drop off their toys. The ten participating Gulf Bank branches are located in Jabriya, Surra, Fahaheel, Hadiya, Qortuba, Rumaithiya, Mishref, Bayan, Audailiya and Nuzha.
