Last year's initiative to hire Emirati nationals proved highly successful, resulting in a 68% increase in the DWC workforce - of which 30% were from the Careers UAE Fair.
This year's fair will result in over a 57% increase in the current workforce of 123 employees.
'Our aim at Dubai World Central is to create a professional work environment based on international experience; this can only be accomplished with the right hiring strategy on both a local and international scale,' explained Hassan Hokal, Human Resources Group Director, Dubai World Central.
'Limitations have been removed providing expatriates the opportunity to be part of this unique project. We will also be creating several training and internship positions, allowing students and up-and-coming talents to experience work life at DWC, and what the future could hold for them'.
Interviews will be held at the 120 square-meter DWC stand located in Zabeel Hall, Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, implementing a transparent recruitment process which allows potential employees match their skill-sets with specific DWC job requirements.
All DWC vacancies will have to be applied online at http://www.dwc.ae/careers, enabling easy access and management of applications by applicants and DWC.
'DWC aims to become a highly desirable work environment for all UAE residents, as well as worldwide professionals seeking an opportunity to become part of the Middle East's largest and most unique project,' continued Hokal.
Dubai World Central is the biggest development project in the UAE, employing strong HR policies based on internationally recognized Human Resources programmes, developing local and international talent to gain vital experience in the urban aviation sector.
