Don't copy Western TV, says minister

Bahrain's Ministry of Information is developing plans to develop TV in the country, calling for Arab channels to integrate to push forward 'Arab empowerment in the media'. A Bahrain Tribune report said the Ministry wants to encourage innovation and avoid mimicking Western shows. This can only be achieved, it believes, by the more advanced channels pushing such shows through and the Ministry will working with channels at an 'inventory, artistic and technical' levels.
