Samsung celebrity torch bearers arrive in Muscat

As the countdown to Oman Torch Relay begins, Samsung Electronic Co., Ltd, Torch Bearers arrived in Muscat to prepare for the most anticipated global event of the year.

Mr. Ranjan Mazmudar, Vice President of Samsung Gulf Electronics said: "I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Samsung torch bearers participating in Muscat and thank them for participating in the relay this year. We are proud to have such a significant group of renowned artists, athletes, media personnel and business associates as our Torch Bearers in the Oman Torch Relay to be held today. We are thrilled to have them represent Samsung Electronics as their achievements reflect values of peace and unity that are perfectly aligned with our corporate philosophy and the purpose of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay."

Participating in the Relay as Samsung torch bearers are Salah Zadjali, Sulaf Fawakherji, Saad Al Shammari and Batal Al Qaws.

Samsung's torch bearers will embark on their journey tomorrow as the Olympic Flame arrives in Muscat to continue "The Journey of Harmony," visiting 21 countries, passing through the five continents till it reaches its final destination in Beijing, China.
