Fusion the Restaurant is overlooking the sea, can accommodate up to 150 guests and is expected to open by May 2008.

Speaking about Al Khobar and the concept of the new restaurant, the GM Han de Windt said, "The Kingdom's Eastern Province and Al Khobar specifically, is developing at a fast pace and accordingly Le Meridien Al Khobar recognized the need to invest not only to better serve and offer good cuisine, but a unique dining experience to its guests. The place will give you a different feel depending on where you sit; from the intime private dining rooms to the grill to the bustling ambiance of the showcase restaurant. A place to see and be seen, simple, chic and contemporary where the team will guide the guests through a sensual food discovery and make it a truly enjoyable and memorable dining experience."

The Hotel's owners decided to renovate and invest not only financially but also creatively on the restaurant by appointing world renowned architect "Pierre Yves Rochon" to design and work his magic with a creative theme, color and design which will delight the eyes. In line with the food concept, the restaurant will be an contemporary interpretation of elegance and appreciation of fine details by combining the modern with the baroque.

The net result is without doubt, a one of a kind restaurant that will be offering fusion cuisine with a trendy visual experience soon to be ranked among the very best in the Kingdom.

At Fusion the Restaurant, a wide range of dishes from all over the world especially seafood, grilled meats, Sushi or Dim Sum will certainly satisfy the most demanding guests. Two open kitchens and a sushi bar as well as an LCD screens will project the live preparation of the food and will unveil the secrets of gastronomy, stated Wolfgang Jobst, newly appointed Chef of the Hotel.

Waters of the World will offer a wide range of waters from all over the globe to accompany the dishes. A selection of over sixty brands, unique for the Middle East has been made to accompany the dishes.
