- PRESS RELEASE
The Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP) has successfully found new job placements for more than 2,300 UAE nationals through the past two years across the healthcare, hospitality, tourism and financial sectors.
Mr Jamal Al Jassmi, General Manager of the Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies, briefed them on the activities and instrumental role played by the Emiratisation Committee of the Banking and Financial Sectors in the UAE.
Al Jassmi provided updates on the various steps initiated by the institute to prepare less skilled UAE nationals for the financial services sector through exposing them to relevant training programmes. He also highlighted the leading role the institute plays in developing UAE nationals already connected with the industry to enhance their performance levels and raise the overall quality of the national component employed by the sector.
HE Saqr Ghobash and HE Dr. Khalifa Bakhit Al Falasi later toured the Assessment Center at the ENDP headquarters where employees briefed the ministers on the modalities of assessing the UAE national candidates based on individual competencies, prior to admitting them for the job training programmes.
