Police fines for cars on while unattended

Dubai Police have started an awareness campaign to stop drivers leaving their cars running while unattended. They have said car owners caught doing so will be fined Dhs300. The five day campaign tells drivers that leaving the engine running while unattended is uncivilised and could lead to consequences such as environmental, health and security problems.
