By the end of 2007, Arab Bank Group's profits crossed the $1bn mark, while assets grew to $38.3bn and shareholders equity to $6.9bn. Total balance sheet stood at $54.8bn.
Global Finance award is the latest in a chain of prizes the bank has recently harvested in recognition of its policies and the confidence it has gained among rating agencies and other institutions that evaluate banking performance.
