S.S. Lootah to introduce new 'Microfinance' scheme during Careers UAE exhibition

Scheduled to be held from April 15-17 under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The unique microfinance initiative is christened 'Mashroay' meaning 'My Project', and will provide the necessary funding to young UAE nationals with sound vision and innovative ideas for new projects and research initiatives that have the potential to become viable business ventures. The company will also assist the young entrepreneurs in developing full fledged business models and guide them through the pilot projects. S.S. Lootah is the first national company in the private sector to introduce such an initiative.

S.S. Lootah has been following a stringent 'Emiratisation' programme over the last few years called 'Mustakbali' meaning 'My Future' to develop national talent and increase nationals' participation in the workforce and society. Under this programme, the UAE nationals are provided with comprehensive training in a practical framework based on international best practices and subsequently offered full time employment. The Programme ultimately aims to enable the national talent to build their own future along with the future of the country.
