SNASCO holds SIC board meeting

SNASCO, one of the region's leading real estate development firms and master developer of the Sharjah Investment Center, held its regular, first-quarter meeting of the SIC's Board of Directors and partners, at the Sharjah Millennium Hotel last week.
The Board discussed the latest progress and developments made on the Sharjah Investment Center, focusing on the development achieved in the last year in terms of technical, sales and marketing and finances.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Saleh Al Sorayai, said, "SNASCO aims to provide the Sharjah Investment Center's partners and its Board of Directors with information on the latest developments achieved on the project, including the technical, financial, and marketing aspects, and to analyze and review the marketing and advertising campaigns developed for the project so far. All of these points were discussed during the meeting, and a number of suggestions and recommendations were made."
Addressing the board on the technical aspects of the project, Al Sorayai reported that the SIC's infrastructure works are progressing according to schedule, reflecting SNASCO's commitment to its clients. He also reported that the central air conditioning system had been developed, following a series of MoUs signed with a number of government departments and contractors, in order to achieve the best possible results in this regard. The architectural and constructional specifications of the mega project were also discussed during the meeting.
The technical aspects of several parts of the project were reviewed, including technical details of the project's water processing plant, the project's local road network and its connection to external roads, amendments to the land owned by the project and the technical and economic studies recently conducted by SNASCO with the aim of developing the project in accordance with the latest developments in the property market across the region. These studies were based on the world's highest industrial standards and the outcomes were positive and promising.
Al Sorayai added, "During the meeting, we discussed certain business aspects, and briefed the board and the firm's partners on the sales development of phases one and two, as well as the next logical steps for the project. We also discussed and clarified the details of the agreements signed with contractors for the execution of different portions of the project."
The board discussed the company's marketing activities, including its advertising campaigns, the project's media presence on the local, regional and international levels, as well as future media and advertising activities, sponsorship plans and CSR activities.
Concluding his statement, Sorayai extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Government and to H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on behalf of the board of directors of the SIC, for his endless support for the project and for the facilities offered by the Sharjah Government to make the project a success.
