- PRESS RELEASE
In their quest for excellence, Dubai courts has focused on a methodology which has earned it their customer's appreciation.
Dubai Courts is a revenue generator. Our electronic portals now cater to a diverse industry, focusing on the emirate's most dynamic sectors.
The automation of our processes has helped us contribute to the Arab world's second largest economy to a commendable level of excellence, in a competitive decade of globalisation.
It is a moment of pride for us to be benchmarked with globally' said Dr Ahmed Bin Hezeem, Director General, Dubai Courts, UAE, who shall present a Keynote Inaugural Address at the 4th Middle East Business Process Management Summit this May.
'The challenge we faced at Dubai Courts was in essence unique to Business Process Management, in the absence of a proper tool to evaluate the effectiveness of an on-going large scale process, which was the strategic planning process.
In fact this challenge is common among most organisations, since shared hypothesis states that strategic planning is assumed to be good for any organisation, therefore does not need to be evaluated. We were able to develop and test the instrument which helped us increase our organisational effectiveness' says Dr Yousuf Al Suwaidi, Director of Strategy and Organisational Department at Dubai Courts, who presents that experience at the Summit, 18 - 22 May 2008 in Dubai.
'With excellent support from Dr Hezeem, Dubai Courts have gone all the way in facilitating each department to align their goals to key performance indicators, monitored weekly by Dr Suwaidi, who has taken ownership of this exceptional challenge turning it into a model of excellence' said Raza Chevel, Conference Manager, IIR Middle East, organisers of the 4th Middle East Business Process Management Summit, 18 - 22 May 2008 in Dubai.
IIR Middle East, the organisers of the 4th Middle East Business Process Summit, focus this year on quantifying BPM improvements to the Board and accelerating specific implementation processes which have a direct impact on the bottom line; strategies which will allow you to transform your organisation into a top-class performer.
You shall also have the opportunity to confer with the industry's leading solution providers to choose the most applicable option for integrating automation with business process improvement and be able to explore examples of the regional obstacles which can hinder progress leading to failed implementation, thus learning how to avoid the pitfalls.
