Zoya Sakr to lead Al Aan's sales and marketing

Al Aan has announced the promotion of Zoya Sakr as the Head of Sales and Marketing.

Ms Sakr has been Al Aan's Head of Corporate Communications for the past two years. She has been instrumental in developing Al Aan's branding, communications and PR strategies.

Al Aan's innovative approach to building up its strong awareness levels in key Gulf markets has had a lot to do with Ms Sakr's successful work.

Ms Sakr has nearly 15 years of accomplishments in the television industry.

Her previous portfolios included program presentation at ANN, ART and FTV.

Before joining Al Aan, Ms Sakr was a television sales executive handling Future TV and Al Mustaqbal newspaper.

Ms Sakr said:

"Our first two years have seen consistent and focused organizational development in terms of building our content and style. I consider myself very fortunate to be assuming this challenging position at a time when Al Aan has demonstrated its excellent credentials to both the viewers and the advertisers.
