Held at the Officers' Club in the department's premises, the event was presided over by First Lieutenant Faisal bin Belailah, Head Of Performance Development Department, and attended by 40 participants, including GROs and typists.

Lt. Bin Bleila clearly traced the process of filing complaints through the various channels offered by the DNRD especially Amer and e-complaint systems.

The e-complaint system was introduced with the aim of putting in place a mechanism based on the best international practices to deal with customers' complaints. The system plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction as it serves to protect the customers' interest in terms of transparency, privacy and efficiency in registering complaints regarding DNRD's various services.

Brigadier Obaid Mehayer Bin Suroor, Deputy director of DNRD, who opened the workshop, reiterated the department's ongoing efforts to improve the communication with its customers and partners, and its policy of adopting the best and latest means to improve services offered to both UAE nationals and expatriates.

The e-complaint system is being implemented in cooperation with the Dubai Government Excellence Award in six government departments simultaneously. The entire process is evaluated by the Dubai Executive Council to ensure prompt feedback, transparency and suitability of the proposed solutions.
