Aman Insurance is granted with the 'Takaful Operator of the Year' Award in the Middle East

The award was presented by the leading dedicated insurance journal in the Middle East and regional insurance magazine behind the Middle East Insurance Awards 2008, Policy.

At the prestigious award ceremony for the 4th annual Middle East Insurance Awards' held at Raffles hotel in Dubai, Mr. Iqbal Mankani, Acting Chief Operating Officer of AMAN received the award on behalf of the company. All registered companies within the GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iran are eligible for the award nomination.

With 12 categories, and international and independent industry experts on the panel of judges, the awards recognize Excellence in the Middle East insurance industry. Aman was voted the winner of this year's newly introduced 'Best Takaful Operator of the Year award', as a result of the organization's efforts and accomplishments in the sector and towards the Takaful market.

Mr. Hussein Al Meeza, CEO and Managing Director of Aman, expressed his gratitude towards the panel of judges for selecting Aman and therefore awarding the company. The award is an appreciation of the company's achievements in not only in the Takaful Insurance Sector, which complies with Sharia'a Rules, but also evidence of a pro-active development of the Takaful market and the Insurance Sector as a whole. The criteria of the 'Takaful Operator of the Year' Award are that the company demonstrates a coherent development strategy, highlighting product innovation, response to customer needs and enhanced quality of service.
