Joe Pennella is credited with excellent cinematography for critically-acclaimed series such as 'Monk', 'Life Goes On', 'Ed', and 'The Drew Carrey Show'.
The MFA-Dubai programme, being conducted at the TECOM Convention Centre, will conclude in May. Its faculty boasts other award-winning film professionals as well, including Agnieszka Holland, Slawomir Idziak, Allan Starski, Marlena Grzaslewicz, Ryszard Lenczewski, Foster Hirsch and Robert Tutak.
The five month MFA-Dubai Intensive Film Production Programme, supported by Dubai Studio City, aims to encourage indigenous film production, providing freelancers, university graduates and aspiring film makers an opportunity to pursue a career in the region's cinema industry.
Established in 2002, the Manhattan Film Academy is a US-based collaborative of award winning Oscar and Emmy-nominated American and European film makers.
