This launch comes on the heels of tremendous growth for the company, as ViewSonic became the fastest growing projector brand in the market in the first half of 2007.

Aaron Fright, Regional Director, ViewSonic Middle East and North Africa said:

"Extending beyond the desktop, ViewSonic understands that home users, educators and busy professionals in the Middle East require easy-to-use projectors with outstanding image quality that fit within their budget. These new feature-rich projectors demonstrate how ViewSonic is leveraging its regional leadership in desktop displays to deliver a complete portfolio of products with superior visual performance and quality that surpass customer expectations".

The new, affordable projectors - the PJ513D, PJ551D, PJ560D - all include Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor Technology, giving users the best display performance available to the mainstream Middle East market.

BrilliantColor Technology provides richer, more lifelike images by using a wider range of the color spectrum, making presentations brighter and more dynamic than ever before.

Further more, ViewSonic leverages the LCD display leading technology to its new projectors. ViewSonic new projectors equip Dynamic Contrast Ratio technology to enhance contrast ratio up to 2000:1.

The Dynamic Contrast Ratio technology is to make black color blacker and white color whiter, which can project data and documents clearly. ViewSonic's new projectors also support ViewMatch™ Technology, which maintains consistent color saturation regardless of image brightness and is able to project the real color performance.

As the projector lamp is the most crucial part of the projector, ViewSonic has incorporated the latest lamp technology to increase lamp life to 3500 hours and reduce total cost of ownership.

ViewSonic's innovative lamp design can improve lamp efficiency up to 15% and extend lamp life, helping to reduce the projector's overall cost of ownership.

3500 hours projector lamp life allows users to enjoy big screen visual experience without any concern.

PJ513D, PJ551D - Budget-Friendly Projectors

The PJ513D and PJ551D projectors boast 2,200 lumens of brightness.

The projectors include several image quality features, such as a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on PJ513D, and ViewMatch technology on PJ551D.

PJ513D offers 800x600 SVGA resolution and the PJ551D is 1024x768 XGA native resolution to display crisp, detailed presentations and video.

In addition, digital vertical correction is able to adjust typically trapezoidal image to square image and eco mode is able to reduce fan noise during important presentations.

PJ560D - Educational Value

For schools and universities that require A+ performance on a tight budget, the PJ560D combines ease of use and reliability.

This plug-and-play projector features an extended lamp life of up to 3,500 hours to reduce the total cost of ownership, while an integrated RS232 port provides PC remote access and integrated third party control systems for easy system administration and decreased downtime.

Two five-watt built-in speakers bring multimedia presentations to life, while multiple screen modes such as Blackboard, Whiteboard and Greenboard reduce the glare on each of these specific surfaces.

The projectors deliver clear video with a 1024x768 XGA native resolution, and provide bright images with 3,200 lumens and 2000:1 contrast ratio.
