- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, April 17 - 2008 at 14:49
- PRESS RELEASE
Stimulated by demand from homes, hotels, schools, universities, organizations' and corporations' fitness clubs, health centres, golf courses and cruise ships among others, the global market for fitness equipment is expected to surpass Dhs44bn by 2010, according to a recent market study.
Mr. Pruy added that many fitness equipment manufacturers are focusing on commercial quality home fitness equipment and gyms helping incorporate exercise into daily life.
The number of health and fitness clubs has increased worldwide triggering the demand for fitness equipment.
"Our event has been used as a platform to launch a series of revolutionary products that take cardiovascular, strength, skill and speed conditioning to the next level," said Ms. Elaine O'Connell, Senior Show Manager, Wellness & Spas Middle East, an annual trade show that is scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 18th to 20th.
"The new dynamics in the UAE, particularly in Dubai, in shaping real estate and tourism is in keeping with the worldwide trend in wellness and spas," said Yesim Engin, Business Development Manager of Finex Spa Solutions. "In today's hectic and tiring world, people rely more and more on tools of 'Wellness Providers' to cope with the world. This demanding and exciting market needs matching service and solution providers".
Finex Spa Solutions aims to surpass their sterling showing in last year's exhibition. For 2008, they have announced that their results for 2008 will grow threefold.
With a team of experts specialized in design, architecture, building, manufacturing, operation consulting, software development and marketing, Finex Spa Solutions brings an outstanding quality in the spas and salon market.
This year as well, Imdad Spa Design Services has confirmed its commitment to the exhibition after a positive experience participating in last year's show, and Imdad Medical will be launching the Lipomassage treatment by Endermologie from LPG.
The treatment is dedicated to removing localized fat, cellulite and contours, producing faster and more targeted results, and is considered a slimming revolution.
The 2007 event attracted 115 exhibitors and over 2100 visitors and was deemed an overwhelming success, with a staggering 98% of visitors polled saying that they would revisit the exhibition next year.
Ms. O'Connell believes that this year's event will be the best yet, judging from the remarkable growth trends associated with the wellness industry.
Wellness and Spas Middle East is the international trade fair for the professional spa and wellness industry, presenting over 135 exhibitors from over 25 countries showcasing the latest products, services, trends and solutions for the spa, fitness and wellness industries.
