Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority, has recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eight governmental and private organisations for the training and employment of over 1,000 UAE nationals for various job profiles.
"Signing the MoUs will expand our network of partnerships with government and private organisations as well as support Tanmia's efforts in sustaining its drive of providing UAE National job seekers with training and employment opportunities," said Feddah Lootah.
"A significant number of UAE nationals who have been employed have proven their competency in various fields of expertise and we look forward to achieving more success with our new partners," added Lootah.
Under the MoUs, Tanmia will coordinate with its new program partners to provide specialised and advanced training to job seekers.
Over the years, a number of banks, companies, and large institutions based in the UAE have signed agreements with Tanmia to support the Authority's efforts of training and employing jobseekers registered in its database.
