C3 Card launches convenient and easy payment solutions

  • PRESS RELEASE

For thousands of companies and individuals, payroll and banking will be simple from now on.

C3 Card announces the launch of its Pre-paid, Payroll, and Money Transfer products for the banked and unbanked; as well as corporate clients.

Powered by the MasterCard worldwide acceptance network, C3 Card will be a dominant player in the financial services industry.

The C3 Card takes the best of the cash and credit worlds and joins them together in a universally accessible, simple, safe, and easy to use all-purpose payment card.

"Around 75% of the population is still paying with notes and coins for its goods, and this is due to many factors including the lack of trust in the current available alternative payment options," said Dr. Mazin Samman, CEO of C3 Card. "It is time to introduce payment card products that provide all the convenience of cash while offering a secure and flexible payment tool".

The Pre-paid card concept is extremely simple. It is personalized. It looks like a credit card. It functions like a debit card.

But there is a difference: Cardholders can spend only what they have already loaded on to the card. Unlike credit or debit cards, they cannot "overdraw" and go into debt.

C3 Pre-paid cards allow individuals access to card-based commerce and take advantage of the extensive global MasterCard network, without the need for a bank account, credit checks, credit history, or permanent employment.

"That's great news for many people who have not been able to obtain, or do not desire to have credit cards; or those who just want to take charge of their finances and be able to control their spending" noted Dr. Mazin Samman. "Simply, this card will undoubtedly become the definition of financial sensibility".

C3 Card products are also geared towards offering companies a low cost, easy to implement, turnkey Payroll card programme with end-to-end support in the market.

Endorsed by the Ministry of Labour in January 2008, the C3 Payroll card represents a convenient multi-purpose solution for both sides, corporate and employees.

It eliminates cheques, cash, and pay stubs from the company's payroll and meets the challenge of streamlining the salary disbursal process and providing easy reporting tools.

Furthermore, it enables the employees to receive their salary via instant electronic payment and based on the MasterCard standard, the C3 Payroll card gives them access to the world of electronic and online payment without any bank account needed.

C3 Card range of products and services are not limited to a specific audience or market segment or industry.

C3 Card will be introducing a wide range of products that caters to the needs of everyone while providing them with added value services and additional loyalty benefits.
