Etisalat Q1 profit hits Dhs2.1bn

Etisalat said its net profit has reached Dhs2.122bn, an increase of Dhs285m compared to the previous year's quarterly result recorded at Dhs1.837bn. Etisalat mobile subscribers hiked by 4% from December 2007 is now at 6.63 million. Telephone and internet lines in service at end of March 2008 were 1.33 million and 0.94 million, respectively.
