Salam Bounian Development Company committed to social and environmental responsibility program

Salam Bounian Development Company recently concluded its water campaign by sponsoring a muppet play from Beirut and addressed at elementary schools and other private institutes.

The children's interaction with the play and the teachers and parents' positive response to this activity, indicated that the show was a success.

All the children got promotional material that will help them remember the valuable messages about water they have learnt during the play and the teachers were presented with material to assist them in discussing this issue in class.

Salam Bounian supports and sponsors educational and environmental projects and campaigns which help increase society awareness toward environmental problems as part of its commitment to its social and environmental responsibility program.

One of the reasons for highlighting the importance of water is that nearly a billion people on the planet don't have access to safe clean drinking water and that NGO's and governments are exerting all efforts and finances to provide people with water that's why Salam Bounian chose it to be the theme of its campaign and hopes that it has spread awareness in Qatar about the importance of water in our life and how to preserve it.

We are committed to a social and environmental responsibility program and we have allocated a certain budget for this cause. This year we chose to fully sponsor a puppet play addressed to children about water conservation. We chose water as our theme for this campaign because statistics inform us that the world is heading for a shortage of water and that this is one of the global issues that should be dealt with and highlighted just like global warming, ozone issue and pollution.
The play that was brought from Beirut and organized by Eventa was fully sponsored by Salam Bounian .It included promotional material that will help the children remember the lessons they have learnt about water. We hope that we can add few awareness tips to our society and consequently share in reducing the negative effects on the environment we all line in."
