This marks the second time that DFM has organised a road show in London, and the third such international event hosted by DFM in the past year, including a road show in New York in the fall of 2007.

Co-sponsored by Goldman Sachs, DFM will organize a two-day investor conference from May 21-22, 2008, during which time representatives of DFM Company and 13 other companies listed on the DFM will meet international fund managers. Only those DFM-listed companies that are most actively traded and allow foreign share ownership will take part in the road show.

In addition to group presentations to conference attendees, both days of the event will feature one-on-one meetings between representatives of the listed companies and fund managers and institutional investors. It is expected that more than 150 different attendees will come to the event, and as many as 220 meetings will occur between fund managers and investors and representatives of listed companies over the course of the conference.

"On behalf of Dubai Financial Market, I am very pleased to announce that preparations are well under way for our second annual London road show," said Essa Kazim, Chairman of DFM. "Following the 2007 event - which saw more than 210 meetings between 230 fund managers and institutional investors and 14 senior representatives of companies listed on DFM - we are confident that this year's road show will prove equally successful, building upon the strong relationships that were established last year.

"International road shows, such as these, help to strengthen relations with managers of global funds, who are provided with the first-hand opportunity to identify prospects for investing in DFM-listed companies," he added. "These events are very much in line with DFM's larger strategy of encouraging international institutional investment by reaching out to the global investment community. We look forward to announcing similar initiatives in the months to come."

DFM-listed companies that will take part in the conference include: Agility, Air Arabia, Amlak, Arabtec, Dubai Financial Market Company, Emaar, Tamweel, Tabreed, Global Investment House, Gulf Navigation, International Financial Advisors, SALAMA (IAIC), UPP and Shuaa Capital. Gulf Navigation, which recently approved the amendment of its articles of association to allow foreign investment, will be participating in the event for the first time.
