The seminar was held in the Etisalat Academy Auditorium with an audience of distinguished guests from universities, banks, local government, as well international delegates and representatives from Etisalat.
Schuitema discussed the modern elements that underpin his theory of 'Leadership by Intent - Care and Growth' for dealing with the various qualities of human fears, greed, risk, competitiveness, job satisfaction, ambition, emotional intelligence, heritage, and the institutional mechanisms and means for transition from working individually to team performance.
This depends on the division of responsibility and activating the reward and punishment system to overcome operational thinking based on delaying executive lead styles, to a system of trust and rules of conduct for executives which regulates and limits the liability with set goals and action plan.

Since then his unique approach to leadership has initiated major improvements in employee commitment in the manufacturing; agricultural; hospitality; finance and retail sectors in South Africa and neighboring countries.
In addition to his organizational consultancy and training activities, Etsko also currently teaches his unique approach at Cambridge University UK, and at a number of South African universities.
