The programme, which comprises of three levels: Corporate Trainee Programme, Corporate Management Programme and Corporate Executive Programme, aims to offer participants a fast-track career progression within Jumeirah, one of the fastest growing hospitality groups in the world.
The programme takes candidates from a 'Graduate' to a Senior Management role through intensive coaching sessions, elaborate development opportunities, industrial placements within Jumeirah properties worldwide and more.
Successful participants will become Jumeirah's future leaders, embracing the company's operating philosophies, and helping to support growth and drive success.
Aspiro's Corporate Trainee Programme was launched in 2007 in the Gulf Region and Jumeirah recently welcomed its first seven successful applicants.
The new recruits, from countries including Norway, the Philippines and as far away as Canada, commenced the programme in March, with placements around the Group's Dubai properties.
As part of the new programme, Jumeirah is also actively recruiting Arabic speakers and nationals from top universities and institutions throughout the UAE.
Our Emiratization Department are instrumental in driving this forward, in order to offer Arabic speaking graduates promising career opportunities and prospects within the group.
We are looking forward to welcoming our successful Arabic candidates later in the year.
'I have been working for Jumeirah for almost four years,' explained May Fellores, a Jumeirah colleague who progressed from Guest Service Executive to Assistant Manager. 'With Aspiro, my future seems even brighter, and the opportunities that are now available will help further enrich my life as a hotelier'.
The selection process is rigorous. Candidates are expected to be passionate about the hospitality industry, enthusiastic about guest services and relations, and ambitious, on top of possessing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Leisure or Engineering.
Trainees will be exposed to a variety of departments and functions including Food & Beverage, Rooms, Engineering, Human Resources and Sales & Marketing Departments.
They will also undergo an intensive assessment process including ability and psychometrics assessment.
Jumeirah Group's Chief Executive Officer, Guy Crawford, commented: 'Jumeirah Group is a rapidly expanding brand. We are excited about offering our Aspiro participants a fantastic combination of leadership instruction and hands on training in our world renowned luxury hotels. We also offer candidates cross-exposure to our properties, academic learning opportunities via The Emirates Academy - the Middle East's premiere hospitality tertiary institution, as well as access to an internationally experienced management team and supported by personal coaching.
