Commenting on DSOA's participation at the UAE Career Fair, Haidar Ali, Director of Human Capital & Organisational Effectiveness at DSOA said:
"We believe in encouraging our human resources as it is the foundation of our work and our success. We were able through our participation this year to introduce new job opportunities in the organisation to attract UAE nationals, for we believe that UAE national youths are the main foundation of the national economy and of the real development. Meanwhile, UAE nationals represent 50% from the total number of employees at DSOA and we expect the percentage to increase before end of 2008."
He added: "We at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority believe that nationalization is a strategic option that comes at the top of our priority list as well as an important company mission. We realize the importance of investing in national human resources, first as a contribution towards preparing qualified nationals that are able to continue the growth and development of the nation in general and of the property sector in particular; and second in the increase in nationalization percentages."
It is worth mentioning that the UAE Career Fair is one of the most important career exhibitions, providing UAE nationals work opportunities in a professional and world-class environment in order to meet the needs of the market. A number of workshops and seminars will be organized during the exhibition, focusing on students, fresh graduates and people looking for job opportunities in order to address a number of issues related to nationalization.
