Nakheel eyes 100 malls in 20 years

Nakheel Retail, Nakheel's latest venture into retail is aiming to build about 100 shopping malls in Dubai in 20 years, cited Gulf News. It has set up four divisions spanning shopping mall and retail brand development - Shopping Malls, RetailCorp, Hypermarkets and Food & Beverage. The company is in talks with a global retail hypermarket chain to operate supermarkets and hypermarkets, totalling 40 in the next 20 years.
