This competition was officially launched on the sidelines of the 3rd annual Wedding Show held at Zara Expo at the beginning of this month.
The Wedding Bonanza competition is being held this year in cooperation with Midas, Beat and Mazaj FM.
The three organizations launched this competition in line with their aims to help young people get married without having to suffer the consequences of inflation.
The competition will consist of five phases and last for a period of three months. The first phase of the competition is a question and answer phase during which competitors are requested to answer questions about their relationship and how much they know about each other.
Their answers are then sent to one of the supporting stations via SMS, where a committee selects the ten couples with the best answers. These couples will then be interviewed live on radio.
Listeners will then vote for the couple that they like best and finally the couple with the most votes will be announced the competition winners.
Midas will present the lucky winners with furniture for their future home.
The winners will also be able to celebrate their wedding at Le Meridian Hotel Amman and receive a diamond set from Kayali Jewelry as well as a full honeymoon package from Maltrans travel agency.
Commenting on Midas’s sponsorship of the competition, CEO of Midas, Mr. Raja Khoury said, “We are happy to sponsor this event and our cooperation with Mazaj and Beat FM will help young couples to get married despite the great rise in prices the Kingdom is witnessing at present. We decided to take on this endeavor based on the true sense of belonging we feel towards the community and based upon our belief in the importance of helping and supporting community members to have their dream wedding and dream home without financial constraints”.
It is important to note that Midas today is recognized as one of the largest furniture showrooms in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; it caters to its customers' needs and tastes by periodically displaying new furniture in its different specialized centers.
As the sole agent for leading international brands, such as Ashley, Pulaski, and Sauder, the firm solidifies its reputation as a provider of products that are in high demand.
