Saudi Arabia to spend $20bn on the health and medical sector by 2016

With aims of leveraging the booming medical equipment sector in KSA, Tripp Lite, the world's leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment, announced that it has forged an agreement with Delta Automotive Ind., a leading manufacturer of ambulances and specialty vehicles.

As part of the agreement, Tripp Lite has installed its top-of-the-line DC to AC inverters within Delta Automotive's ambulances to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the emergency vehicles.

Developed using the latest technology in power protection equipment, Tripp Lite's DC to AC Inverters will ensure power continuity by adjusting fluctuation and reducing incidences of power interruption.

With the capacity to supply power at 110 and 220 volts at the same time, the inverters enables charging of batteries and running of the interior equipment through exterior power sources.

At present, a number of ambulance units equipped with the robust DC to AC Inverters including first responders, medium equipped and highly equipped critical cars, and 4x4 units, has been tested and are currently being used to respond to emergency calls.
