The public will get a first look and a chance to try the new service at Zain's annual distributors' exhibition held at the Mishref fairgrounds from April 24 - May 4, 2008.

Speaking on the occasion, Zain Kuwait Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Mohammad Al-Shehab said the new Mobile Backup service saves the mobile phone's Address Book, SMS, MMS, Photos, Videos, Ring Tones, Tasks, Notes, Calendar, Wallpapers, Games and Applications on a secure server for retrieval when desired.

He said the new secure service was necessary for our valuable customers to protect their mobile information because you can never know when your phone will be damaged, stolen or lost.

Zain Mobile Backup copies the data to a secure server and allows subscribers to retrieve them when they replace or upgrade their mobile phones.

The mobile content will be stored securely in a personal server space and can be easily viewed online or restored to a new phone at anytime.

As a plus, users will be able to view and manage their data through this secure website which prevents unauthorized use or access.

Zain Mobile Backup allows subscribers to easily Synchronize, Backup and Restore their data over-the-air through Zain secure network.

Zain Mobile Backup extends Zain's brand equity, and ensures a consistent user experience across all Zain's applications and business solutions.

The innovative service will be available soon to the majority of used mobile platforms for both individual subscribers through branches, and corporate subscribers through the Corporate Sales Department.
