INFDEX Exhibition, Conference & Awards 100% sold Out

The International Furniture and Design Exhibition, Conference and Awards (INFDEX), Qatar's largest interior design and furnishing expo this year introducing a cutting edge conference and exclusive awards ceremony for the first time, is 100% sold out, organisers Qatar Expo have announced.

    The International Furniture and Design Exhibition, Conference and Awards (INFDEX), Qatar's largest interior design and furnishing expo this year introducing a cutting edge conference and exclusive awards ceremony for the first time, is 100% sold out, organisers Qatar Expo have announced.
The exhibition will run from the 18th until 21st May from 15:00 until 22:00 with more than 100 companies covering 14 countries will be present to display their latest designs, fashion and technology in the fields of Office design, House design, Furniture, Landscaping, lighting and environment.

This is year exhibitors is yet another record for INFDEX with vast country pavilions led by Turkey with 350 square meters and the first visit from influential Swedish furniture designers.

Other major INFDEX exhibitors are representing Italy, Spain, India, Lebanon, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Taiwan, Malaysia and Qatar.

"INFDEX has doubled in size this year and through our marketing campaign that began a year ago it was very clear for us that leading companies from the international market are very keen in being part of the development Qatar is going through" commented Fernando De Guama - Director - Exhibitions and Events

Highlight of this year exhibition is INFDEX Conference on 18th and 19th May that will discuss sensitive topics related to the introduction of latest technologies while keeping the values and tradition.

"The inaugural INFDEX Furniture and Design Conference is the first in Doha. This is an invaluable opportunity for the public to interact with visionaries, entrepreneurs and scholars who over the years has achieved many milestones and made them leaders within their markets" added De Guama.

INFDEX 2008 will showcase the latest imaginative interior and exterior designs, antiques, furniture; kitchen designs and textiles led by Al Akili Group, the largest INFDEX exhibitor with a 300 square meter stand displaying a diverse range of the latest interior design products and fashions.

"This year we are maximizing the exhibition's content with a showcase of special events as part of INFDEX 2008. The special features are designed to entertain and inspire exhibitors and show visitors, as well as providing extra networking and idea exchange opportunities," suggested De Guama.
