Morgan Stanley hires Chief Economist for Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa

Morgan Stanley announced today that it has hired Tevfik Aksoy as an Executive Director and Chief Economist for Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Aksoy is based in Istanbul and reports to Joachim Fels, Co-head of Global Economics.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Fels said, "We are delighted to have someone of Tevfik's experience joining the research team. Tevfik's in-depth knowledge of Turkey and the Middle East and North Africa will be invaluable to our clients and will further enhance our macro coverage of this increasingly important region."
