Abu Dhabi Motors, exclusive importer of BMW, MINI and Rolls- Royce in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, recorded its highest sales for the first three months of the year, selling 683 units between January and March 2008 - an impressive 62.1% increase over the same period in 2007.
The top three selling models for the first three months of 2008 were the BMW X5, followed by the BMW 7 Series and BMW 5 Series.

Arno Husselmann, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Motors, attributes the impressive growth to the company's new product introductions, as well as top rated and unique aftersales services.

"Last year Abu Dhabi Motors paved the way for sales growth with a 36% increase over 2006, the highest year-on-year growth in the Middle East for the BMW Group, as well as the best customer satisfaction rating amongst BMW exclusive dealers in the UAE, which is measured by crm Middle East,"

explained Husselmann.

"Unique customer offerings, such as standard availability of BMW "Service Inclusive + Repairs", makes Abu Dhabi Motors an attractive choice for existing and prospective BMW customers. Exclusivity deals with tuner companies like AC Schnitzer and G-Power also attracts perfectionists to our showrooms."

Last month, Abu Dhabi Motors announced the start of construction on what will become the Middle East's largest BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce showroom. Situated in Abu Dhabi's Umm Al Nar district, the two-storeyed 34,100 square metres state-of-the-art showroom and customer services facility will cost over Dhs220m for the construction alone.

"Showroom construction is progressing on schedule and we expect the new showroom and facilities to be completed by mid-2010," continued Husselmann.

This year will also see the introduction of several new models to the BMW and MINI range. The MINI Clubman is already on offer at Abu Dhabi Motors showrooms, while the new BMW 1 Series Coupe and Convertible, BMW M3 Double Clutch Transmission and the eagerly anticipated BMW X6, the world's first Sports Activity Coupe, have just arrived. The end of 2008 will also see the arrival of the all new BMW 7 Series, which will move the benchmark for automotive engineering to a new standard.
