Sheikh Ahmed hails efficiency of DNRD's airport employees

HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Department and Chairman of Emirates, has hailed the efforts of the Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) employees for protecting the country from illegals and contributing to the safety and security of the UAE.
The ceremony was attended by Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of DNRD; Brigadier-General Obeid Mehayer Bin Suroor, Deputy Director of DNRD; Colonel Salah Bin Suloom, Director of Airports and Land Border Points, DNRD; and other senior officials at DNRD.
Following the best global technological practices and standards in the fields of passport control to manage the entry procedures effectively, DNRD has installed new system at DIA to record and save the necessary data on illegals who attempt to enter the country. This system enhances the safety and the security of the UAE as it facilitates the process of identifying illegals and deporting them in the due course.
Sheikh Ahmed appreciated the efficiency of the DNRD employees who stop illegals from entering the country and stressed on the vital role they play at the airport, being the first and the last point of contact for visitors to the UAE. He also urged them to continue providing their excellent service to the passengers who use Dubai airports and wished them all success.
According to Major-General Al Marri, Director of DNRD: "Our staff members undergo extensive periodic training sessions to develop a quick analytical sense in accordance with the best global practices." He also called upon all the DNRD employees to work in a team to protect the security and stability of the country.
