UAE's up-and coming leaders receive pioneering management skills

Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi's leading property developer, received world-renowned business professors, Gary Hamel and Julian Birkinshaw today at the Rotana Hotel & Towers to deliver their insights to innovation in management skills.
Abdullah Zamzam, Chief Corporate Support Officer, Aldar Properties comments, "This program highlights important aspects of leadership and management such as the best practices in management for delivering the most effective results, and techniques to achieve innovation into the management field. I am very pleased with this inaugural Leadership Lecture and am proud to have these two internationally acclaimed professors here in Abu Dhabi, who are bringing pioneering management philosophies into our market by reaching our young generation who will be our next leaders".
Gary Hamel is on the faculty of the London Business School, and has been heralded by The Journal of Business Strategy as one of the 20th Century's most influential business thinkers.
He has authored 15 different articles for the Harvard Business Review.
During the lecture, he focussed on topics such as innovation in management, and best management practices.
Julian Birkinshaw, Professor of strategic management at London Business School, tailored his topics to include: leadership in multinational organizations, and 'Giant Steps in Management.'
"The Aldar LEAD program is delighted to have this successful event organized for the students of LEAD, and are looking forward to making these kinds of lectures a part of our regular curriculum. Part of what the LEAD program is committed to offering is competitive insight into management and business," stated Stuart McClean, Senior LEAD Program Manager.
Aldar has launched the LEAD program in partnership with Cambridge University and Knowledge Horizon.
The initiative has won the sponsorship support of such leading Abu Dhabi institutions as Al Fahim, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, Dolphin Energy, the Environment Agency- Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, all of which share the vision for UAE nationals to become leaders in their fields in the UAE.
