Dubai Pearl presents Arab Journalism Awards 2008 in 'Best Photography' category

Pearl Dubai, a consortium of investors led by Al Fahim Group and developers of the Dhs15bn Dubai Pearl project, presented the 'Best Photography' Award to Karim Sahib Muhsin from AFP at the annual Arab Journalism Awards 2008, for his thought provoking images.
The annual Arab Journalism Awards were hosted as part of the closing ceremony of the two-day Arab Media Forum, which was held from 23-24 April at the Monarch Hotel in Dubai.
Comprising 12 different categories in addition to special honours, the prestigious awards recognised excellence in Arab journalism. Pearl Dubai was a diamond sponsor of Arab Media Forum 2008.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Arab Media Forum 2008 came to a successful close today, bringing together over 200 top-tier regional and international media professionals and intellectuals.
Dubai Pearl will be located within Dubai Media and Technology Free Zone (TECOM), overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Pearl will combine an active business district with quality urbane lifestyle.
Catering to culture lovers, it will boast a 2,000-seat state of the art theatre, a luxury fashion precinct, and include sky palaces, sky penthouses and climate controlled pedestrian walkways. Dubai Pearl is scheduled for completion by December 2010.
