Commenting on the new service, IBQ Managing Director George Nasra said:
"We clearly understand the Expatriates' need to manage their banking requirements in their home countries from Qatar with ease. As such we have teamed up with our partner National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) in Lebanon, to offer this new premium service to the Lebanese expatriates in Qatar, to experience the convenience of this relationship in managing their financial affairs in both Qatar and Lebanon".
By simply opening an account at any of IBQ's branch, a Lebanese expatriate can benefit from a host of benefits including the opportunity to open an account in Lebanese pounds or US dollars, instant, free and safe money transfers to any of the 11 NBK branches located throughout Lebanon.
Recognizing the importance of owning a house in their home country, a housing loan is offered to IBQ customers at competitive terms and conditions.
In addition the Lebanese expatriates can avail of all the comprehensive real estate services such as assistance in the selection of property to buy, property appraisal in addition to legal advice all of which are offered through NBK branches.
George Nasra concluded, "The new Non Resident Lebanese package provides customers the freedom to manage their financial affairs at home in a convenient and practical way".
IBQ was recently awarded the accolade of " Best Bank for Customer Service for 2008" by the Banker Middle East magazine earlier this year.
