Nissan Middle East brings 'The Gruffalo' to theatre fans

Nissan Middle East is bringing a top UK kids show to Dubai theatre fans with the musical adaptation, 'The Gruffalo', an award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

'The Gruffalo' has sold more than a million copies and has been translated into 29 languages.

It held the title of Britain's bestselling picture book for five years.

Nissan Middle East distributes copies of its comic book and animated film, which reminds kids about the importance of following road safety rules and teaches habits that help avoid accidents.

The 'Be Safe with Nissan' book is written in both English and Arabic using easy language and illustrative, colourful pictures that will help school children understand the message.

Nissan is emphasising child safety inside vehicles through passive and active safety features designed by Nissan to protect occupants.

'The Gruffalo' is a story about an adventurous Mouse and a monster called Gruffalo, who embark on a magical journey into the woods, where they overcome the invincible odds.

It plays at Madinat Jumeriah Theatre from April 24 until April 29, 2008.

The show is 50 minutes in total and suitable for ages three and above.
