H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan inaugurates Zayed University's carnival

Hundreds of students at Zayed University's Abu Dhabi campus showed off their skills at the opening of the annual 'Spring Festival' selling a variety of items and offering a diversity of artistic, cultural and entertaining activities to visitors, in addition to showcasing their talents in drawing through the 'ZU got talent' week.
Students from the University have set up stalls selling different wares including perfumes, handicrafts cosmetics and clothes, in addition the festival hosted the Abu Dhabi Police Band. While other activities include poetry recitals, hosting the renowned Emirati poets Amer Bin Amr, Saeed Bin Tomayshan and Saeed Alahbabi, and the South African show.
The students organized the carnival dividing it into several areas which include T-shirt painting stand, assorted food vendors, flower booths ,sand designs.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim Vice President of Zayed University stressed the importance of the annual cultural carnival as it enhances the students abilities to innovate and create new ideas and encourages them to become future entrepreneurs.
On her part Amal AlKhoury the Activities Coordinator at the University said: "The students council at Zayed University organized the festival giving students a chance to showcase their talents and enhance their creativity".
