The group of 40 students and teachers were led by Dr. Caroline Yeoh, Practice Associate Professor of Management at SMU's Lee Kong Chian School of Business. The week-long study trip, designed by Dr. Yeoh as part of a course module, started on April 19 and aims to give students a broad-based learning experience by examining the rapidly developing business environment and available opportunities in the Gulf Region, specifically the socio-political, cultural, and legal aspects.

In an effort to enhance ties between Dubai and Singapore, ENOC has further accepted three students from the delegation for internship in various ENOC departments.

On the university's visit to ENOC, Dr. Yeoh commented, "ENOC's sponsorship has allowed our students to learn and experience Dubai and the Middle East. Without their kind support, these students would not have had the financial capacity to go for this eye-opening trip."

The delegation was received by, Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive, Saif Al Falasi, ENOC Group General Manager, and Khalid Hadi, ENOC Group Brand and Marketing Manager, who later made a presentation on ENOC and its expanding operations, followed by a Q&A session. ENOC also organised a desert safari for the students.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory said, "ENOC is delighted to be contributing significantly to the economic diversification and growth in the UAE. It is inspiring to know that we are being watched as a successful business model, especially by management experts and the academic community in the Far East - a region where ENOC has a significant presence and which remains crucial in our growth plans. ENOC will continue to encourage the student community to learn more about our success as we regard this as a highly-constructive form of engagement with the future of our industry,"

Teo Xue Hui, one of the students in the delegation termed the visit insightful and extremely useful. "The presentation gave me a very good understanding of ENOC, its different business units, and where the future of the industry is headed. I especially liked the Q&A session because it greatly increased my knowledge of the industry. I feel honoured to be here and I greatly appreciate the warmth and hospitality that everyone showed us."
