On behalf of the DTCM, Mr. Talal Al Suwaidi, Senior Executive, Overseas Promotions, DTCM Head Office received the award. A 16 member delegation attended the event and networked with over 500 leading Travel Agents and Tour Operators from across India.
Commenting on the importance of the Indian market, Mr. Saleh Mohammed Al Geziry, Director, Overseas Promotions, DTCM said, 'We are pleased to be a part of SATTE 2008. India is a strategic market for Dubai and has been one of the top-five source markets for leisure and business visitors. We are hopeful that tour new marketing initiatives and participation at key trade fairs like SATTE will further boost inward traffic into Dubai from India.'
The co-participants with DTCM in SATTE 2008 included Al Bustan Residence Hotel Apartments, Alpha Tours, Centre of the World Tours, D4D Tourism LLC, Desert Link Incentives & Tours, Dubai Travel & Tourist Services LLC, Grand Hyatt Dubai, Khalidia Hotel Apartments, Lama Group of Companies, Orient Tours LLC, Radisson SAS Hotel-Dubai Deira Creek, Rotana, Royal Arabian Tours LLC, Southern Sun Hotel and Sunny Tours.
DTCM wins best stand display at SATTE 2008
Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) stand in the South Asian Travel & Tourism Expos (SATTE) 2008 that concluded Sunday in New Delhi won the best stand display award.
