With aims to maximise the growing popularity of 'smart homes' in the country, ActiveMania is participating at The Install exhibition - one of three vertically integrated shows under PALME Middle East 2008, which opened today (April 27, 2008) at the Pavilion Hall of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC). The event will serve as the launch pad for ActiveMania's all new aimobi 403, a new system that operates via remote access through 3G connectivity, which the company is showcasing at its Stand (B38) in Hall 8.

The aimobi 403 embodies the third generation of wireless connectivity, and enjoys high-speed remote home access through a portable device. It features a handheld compact and slim Ultra-Mobile PC, powered by Nawaiya's ILM3G, packing all the power of mobile phones and PC functionality. The aimobi 403 seamlessly integrates ActiveMania's Smart Solutions and offers users the flexibility and convenience of accessing and controlling all their Entertainment, Automation, Telecommunication, Security, and Interactive content features wirelessly and on the go. Thus, users will be able to enjoy IPTV and real-time video streaming, manage their multi-source/zone/user AV distribution, control the lights, adjust HVAC's temperature, monitor CCTV and IP cams, and launch scenarios on the move.

'The future is about ubiquitous connectivity inside the home, and outside it via remote home access that is flexible, scalable and modular. Through this third generation of wireless connectivity, ActiveMania is able to seamlessly bring together disparate technologies and access them wirelessly from anywhere in the world and at anytime via the aimobi 403. Our participation at this event is part of our strategy to showcase the outstanding enhancement we have developed for the aimobi 403,'

said Ribal Zwein, VP Design and Implementation, ActiveMania.

'The ILM 3G is by far the smallest and the lightest ultra mobile PC and Mobile Phone convergence device making it ideal for ActiveMania's product roadmap.' added Samer Suheil, Managing Director, Nawaiya.

ActiveMania was the first to launch digital and connected Real Estate solutions in the region; it has been awarded landmark projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Kuwait, consisting of residential and mixed-used mega developments. In line with its regional strategy, the company has recently been awarded a contract to install its Smart Technologies within several buildings in Cairo.
