In view of the premium services offered to media members during its sponsorship of the ATM media centre, the DSF Office has also reached an agreement with the event organizers to sponsor the ATM media centre for a three-year period starting 2008.
The 2008 Arabian Travel Market is expected to attract around 24,000 industry players from over 100 countries in addition to a multitude of journalists and reporters from major regional and international media organisations.
'The sponsorship of the ATM media centre is one among the many initiatives undertaken by the DSF Office to promote DSS 2008, DSF 2009 and the Modhesh brand in a unique way. While the DSF Office will have an individual stand this year, our sponsorship of the media centre will enable us to reach out to a key segment of our stakeholders - journalists,'
said Khulood Al Thani, Marketing Manager of DSF Office.
'The DSF Office will provide a high level of media services to journalists and media members from around the world at the ATM media centre. These include the latest communications equipment and standby personnel to assist journalists in their efforts to cover ATM 2008,' she added.
Rana Ghazi, Communications and Public Relations Manager of DSF Office said, 'Through this initiative, the DSF Office hopes to strengthen its relationship with media members regionally and globally. Over the past couple of years, we have been able to expand our presence in numerous countries with the help of the media. In the coming years, the media will play a significant role in disseminating the key messages of DSF Office to a wider audience locally, regionally, and globally.'
