We were delighted to be able to welcome supporters from across the emirates eager to make a difference in the fight against global warming and to spread the message of environmental awareness,' said Patrick Antaki, General Manager, Le Méridien Al Aqah.

The fun filled day saw people of all ages taking part in marine inspired beach games, tree planting, a human formation, and of course, the dive clean up which consisted of over 20 Emirates Diving Association members.

'It was a very special day for everyone involved and we, as a hotel, were proud to be able to host such a worthwhile event. Our aim, along with Emirates Diving Association, was to reach out to as many people as possible, creating a greater understanding of the environment and what can be done to protect it and we certainly achieved it,' added Antaki.
