EON showcases exclusive dual 'experience stands' For Home and Hotel at PALME 2008

The stands will showcase live demonstrations of cutting edge digital and home automation solutions for living, work and leisure environments from 27 - 29 April 2008.

As part of its unique offering at this year's show, EON will demonstrate the region's first ever live showcase of the SMART Hotel that will provide the latest in guest solutions and operator facilities management.

The live demonstration will take visitors through a hotel set-up demonstrating how guests can access the hotel's facilities from the comfort of their rooms including dimming controls, AV distribution equipment; integrated environment controls as well enhanced VOIP features.

The Smart Hotel's operational management technology will demonstrate how hotel personnel can collect live feedback for all hotel equipment and systems, generate maintenance schedules and conduct online servicing.

EON will also feature a special live demonstration on the 'Digital Kitchen', focussing on 'Safety' (heat and smoke detection, water leakage and malfunction alerts) and will also be the first to present the Philips 3D WOWvx in the region giving the viewer an extraordinary viewing experience without the hassle of wearing 3D viewing glasses.

An exclusive creation, Philips combines 3D content creation software tools and 3D displays that enable you to show animated content, video, and games in 3D.

What's more, Philips dual mode 3D displays can still show your 2D video content in high definition as well.
