The Video Cam was revealed to the public during the Zain's 4th Distributors Exhibition, which started on April 24 and continues until the 3rd of May.
Speaking on the occasion, Zain's Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Mr. Mohammad Al-Shehab, said the product allows its owner, and a list of callers he or she selects, to dial the number of the Video Cam from any 3G Mobile Phone that supports video calls and view real-time video and audio captured by this Camera.
He said the new product's importance lies in the fact that it allows parents to monitor the activities of their kids at home or in the garden, as well as track activities at home or in the office.
Al-Shehab stressed that the Zain Video Camera provides live real-time video and audio broadcast, in addition to talk back option. The caller can also zoom in and out and rotate the camera in all directions.
The owner can pre- set the number of users having access to the Video Cam through a unique PIN number protection. As an additional privacy setting, the owner has the option to add or omit users.
The camera works with two modes, day and night. The night mode will be activated automatically to ensure clear images. Roaming users can still enjoy remote viewing via mobile roaming service.
The Zain Video Cam, the latest of a series of new products and services that Zain launched with the opening of the 4th Distributors Exhibition, is also available at Zain branches and authorized retail outlets.
