- PRESS RELEASE
MBC Group's annual Day of Hope, launched three years ago, is being marked this year with an initiative that promises to highlight the hopes of some of the many million MBC viewers throughout the Arab world.
Viewers of MBC Group's six TV channels are invited to share their experiences of how they see hope, what hope means to them, or how they wish to create hope - whether in their families, their communities or their countries. MBC will then help to "plant" these "seeds of hope" by airing a selection of the viewer generated material received, on MBC channels to a potential audience of 75 million daily viewers in the Middle East North Africa region.
"MBC Group's motto is "We See Hope Everywhere", and for the past three years we have introduced initiatives that have not only met that pledge, but have also contributed to creating hope" said Mazen Hayek, Group Director of Marketing, PR & Commercial for MBC. "It is particularly important, at this time in the history of the Middle East, to recognize the wonderful symbols of hope that continue to exist in our region, and to share them not just from one satcaster to many but, from many to many."
"MBC's initiative this year is to help nurture the "seeds of hope" that are present in the lives of every one of us, and to inspire and encourage hope-related activities - both big and small - throughout the region. With more than 75 million people watching MBC's TV channels every day, sharing people's hope with us will literally touch the lives of millions and create a momentum that is more powerful than one could have even envisaged," concluded Hayek.
