The Abu Dhabi-based airline is sponsor and the official airline for the outdoor concert which takes place in the grounds of Emirates Palace on Tuesday 20 May in front of 20,000 eager fans.
Etihad will fly Jon Bon Jovi and his band into the city on its non-stop daily service from New York, where the world famous band is currently completing the US leg of its 'Lost Highway' world tour.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' executive vice president marketing and product, said: 'As the national airline of the UAE, Etihad Airways is very excited to play a lead part in bringing one of the world's best selling and most popular live performers to Abu Dhabi.
'Etihad Airways will do everything it can to make sure Bon Jovi enjoys a flying start to their Middle East tour by welcoming the band onboard the Middle East's leading airline.'
The Bon Jovi concert will be the second time Etihad has brought a major world pop act to Abu Dhabi following the hugely successful Justin Timberlake concert which was also held at Emirates Palace in December 2007.
