Diners Club sponsors What's On Awards 2008

Diners Club International, exclusively available through Emirates NBD was once again, title sponsor of this year's What's On Awards, organized by Motivate Publishing, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In Dubai, the award ceremony attracted close to 1000 guests, and took place on 14th April 2008 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, and over 400 guests attended the Abu Dhabi Award Ceremony which took place at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Hotel on 21st April 2008.

Mr. Suleiman Al Mazroui, Emirates NBD General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications and Member of the Board of Directors of Diners Club, was guest of honour at the event and handed out awards to the winning brands on behalf of Diners Club.

Mr. Suvo Sarkar, Emirates NBD General Manager Retail Banking said,

On both occasions, Diners Club carried out a business card raffle draw and offered winners from each event the chance to win a pair of tickets to Europe or South East Asia.

The draws took place during the awards ceremony and the winners were announced on the night.
