Canon Emirates & Pixel Digital Systems showcase fusion of document production and application specific scanning to the UAE market.
The whole day event was hosted in the prestigious Hotel Fairmont in Dubai.
The exhibition saw a large turnout of visitors from the education, construction, government, and financial markets.
A large number of value added resellers and system integrators too turned up to obtain first hand information of the technology & latest available models to suit various business applications and needs.
Canon exhibited scanners specific for banking applications. The CR55 & CR180 Cheque Scanners allow the bank to scan & capture information on the cheques and also decode MICR information for clearing purpose.
The exhibition also enabled the visitors to witness the launch 4 new scanners:
- ScanFront 220P - Total Integrated Network Scanner
- DR 2010C & DR2510C - Work Group Document Scanners
- X10C - High Volume (Production) Scanner
The hero of the show was the High Volume production scanner the X10C which is by far Canons best product in the business of large volume document scanning.
" The entire range would be made available to the UAE market by mid May with local warranties and support provided by certified engineers and a network of business associates of Pixel Digital Systems" said Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Managing Director of Pixel Digital Systems.
Mr. Audai Altaie - Solution Product Manager at Canon Middle East also added "Middle East is the prime focus for Canon Document Imaging & Managing Solution (DIMS). Canon Emirates will ensure to bring the latest technology to the UAE market so that the customers benefit from having a comprehensive business solution for document capturing and managing".
