As part of the Middle East's only experiential photography event, 'Photo Friday' offers photographers of all levels the chance to learn from the world's best at Dubai's Knowledge Village.
New for 2008 are the Photo Friday Open Day tickets, which entitle holders to 4 sessions throughout the day and entry to photo exhibitions, as well as sponsor/exhibitor demonstrations are available for sale from select outlets.
In addition, all ticket-holders are entitled to a camera clean completely free.
Talking about the Photo Friday Open Day tickets, Mohamed Somji, Event Project Manager, Gulf Photo Plus, said 'The best way to explain the 'Photo Friday Open Day Ticket' concept is to say, they are like airline standby seats, heavily discounted and subject to availability. By bringing some of the world's best photographers to Dubai we want as many people to reap the rewards of their experiences behind the lens.'
Aspiring photographers who don't have their full photography kit needn't worry, with free camera and lens loan available for Gulf Photo Plus participants and great discounts on leading camera brands, Apple mac products, ADOBE software and much more.
Photo Friday is divided into four key time slots throughout the day: 09:00 - 10:30; 11:15 - 12:45; 13:45 - 15:15; and 16:00 - 1730.
In each slot there are up to five presentations whether lectures or interactive forums to choose from on with an Open Day Ticket.
Everyone is guaranteed a seat at a presentation, perhaps not their first choice, but with so many great topics on offer Open Day Ticket holders will not be disappointed.
Topics at Photo Friday range from Home Print Help so you can finally learn how to print photos that are as vibrant as they are on the screen, Photoshop 'Must Know' sessions and How to Take Better Facebook Portraits to Photo-journalism and Techno Babble where the professionals share their secrets about the latest gadgets and time saving technology.
Participants at Photo Friday can top-up on tips and techniques from the world's best photographers.
Canon, Nikon, Apple, GraphEast, Bowens, Fuji and Panasonic who have demonstrated unwavering support for the event, will be joined by newcomers Sony, Epson, Pantone, JOBY, Logitech, Riot Art, Kodak, ProLab, Unibind, MEPP and international participants Speos, the Paris School of Digital Photography who will be highly visible throughout the event providing expert advice, free printing, terrific product deals, equipment loan, cleaning and much more.
'Photo Friday Open Day Tickets' are available on line at Gulf Photo Plus, iStyle stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, DUCTAC (Mall of the Emirates) or Time Out Ticket Line.
